Physiotherapy - Neuro-rehabilitation

We are a private clinic located in Runcorn, Cheshire providing Bobath Physiotherapy treatment to Widnes, Warrington and Halton. Home visits are also provided to Runcorn and surrounding ares as well as Chester & North Wales. PremierPhysio can offer both adult and paediatric Bobath based neuro physiotherapy. This service is offered in a response to insufficient provision of quality short and long term neurological physio services in the area. We recognise the effect that long waiting lists and limited length of treatment has on an individual's quality of life.

Physiotherapist with patient

Our aim is to provide a highly specialised, quality neuro-physiotherapy/rehabilitation service to clients whose life has been affected by any neurological condition. A Neuro Physiotherapist would treat conditions such as: CVA (Cerebral Vascular Accident) / Stroke, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), Parkinson's Disease, MND (Motor Neurone Disease), head injury and Cerebral Palsy etc.

Treatment can be provided either at our Runcorn clinic or in the client's normal residential environment. Your neuro physio can optimise functional levels and independence to promote maximum recovery post stroke / head injury or arrest deterioration for conditions such as MS / MND.

Treatment is holistic (focussed on the person as a whole), client led and based on joint goals agreed between you and your neuro physio. Carers and relatives can be involved and advised in all aspects of rehabilitation.

Our experienced paediatric physiotherapist has a special interest in working with children with cerebral palsy and related neurological conditions, using a neuro-developmental/Bobath approach. She has experience as an NHS community paediatric physio working in mainstream schools, nurseries, child development centres and clients' homes. She has also worked in specialist centres: The Bobath Centre in London and Bobath Children's Therapy Centre in Cardiff.

She is a member of the Executive Committee of the BABTT (British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists) and also a member of the APCP (Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists).

If you would like an appointment or any further information on our services, please contact us at PremierPhysio.
