Acupuncture needles are the same width as human hair, much thinner than an injection needle; so having acupuncture does not feel like having an injection. At PremierPhysio we only use high quality Classic Plus needles, which have an incredibly finely polished surface to minimise discomfort. Needles are disposable, pre-sterilised and individually packaged. When inserted, you may feel a temporary, sharp pricking sensation.
Any side effects tend to be mild and short-lived and may include: fatigue, light-headedness, bruising, localised bleeding or soreness or redness or mottling of the skin around the needle sites. If you continue to feel tired after a treatment, we recommend that you do not drive or operate machinery.

"I had a wonderful experience with this physio centre. Everyone I dealt with was so professional and friendly. Communication was prompt and easy and a real poster campaign for how health management should be! Prices were very reasonable too, thought I dream of the day holistic health is better covered by the NHS. I had a physio session with David Farre Esteve who was brilliant. He really listened to my problem and talked me through everything he was going to do and why. My neck, back and shoulders feel better after years of trying this and that in Berlin and Paris where I previously lived. He did such a good job that sadly I don't think I'll go back for a while! :) Highly recommended."
