Three members from the PremierPhysio team are tackling a mammoth task this June in the name of charity.
Pauline, Claire and Julia will head to the Lake District to hike the twenty-six mile distance from Keswick to Ambleside on the 17th June in aid of Macmillan nurses.
The team have been in training for the Macmillan Mighty Hike for months to prepare them for their marathon trek. The Mighty Hike route will take them along the Cumbria Way through tough terrain and steep climbs on the fells, but the trio are ready for any challenges that come their way.
Pauline was inspired to go the distance by someone dear to her who was affected by cancer and received care and support from Macmillan nurses, and recruited her team-mates to raise funds for the charity in their honour.
Claire commented on the training ‘It’s been hard work and quite gruelling at times, but we’re working together as team and we help each other to keep going. It’s a very special cause and we hope to raise as much money as we can for a charity that is close to our hearts’.
