Neck pain, headaches and arm pains
Neck pain, headaches and pins and needles can all be felt after a whiplash injury. Early treatment and advice is important to help the healing process. In the early stages acupuncture can be very beneficial to reduce pain and muscle spasm.
Exercises, education and advice are very important if the injury was some time ago, but has not got better. By avoiding painful movements, neck stiffness can develop over time. Manual treatment to mobilise the joints and massage the muscles in the neck can ease this tension and regain pain free movement. Although Christine had been suffering for 30 years, she was much better after just one session and has continued with her exercises and not needed any further treatment.
"Vicki, thank you for the treatment you gave me on my neck. I had a bad whiplash accident about 30 years ago and have seen several physios and osteopaths since then. I would get some relief, but I had to attend these for several weeks at a time so you can imagine the cost! I only had one treatment from you along with several exercises (especially the one that I squeeze my chin to my neck and hold for 30 seconds) that one has been brilliant. I do these exercises on a regular basis and my neck has been great. Thank you once again."
