Our gait analysis assessment is performed by a specialist HCPC Registered Orthotist with a wealth of experience and biomechanical knowledge. In addition to the physical assessment, including walking / running on the treadmill; we use pressure plate analysis and a 3D scanner - the more data and information we collect about you, the more likely the outcome will be a successful one.

Pressure plate analysis shows us the loads through the different areas of your foot, but this is only part of the picture. The 3D scanner is essential for custom insoles, so they can be made to the shape of your foot for the best level of comfort.

From the assessment findings and if appropriate, we offer a wide range of insoles (orthotics) to suit your symptoms and budget. The insole is prescribed to influence your foot to behave correctly and lessen the cause of your pain. The different options will be thoroughly explained, so you can make the decision. In addition to insoles, our therapists work closely together, so we may recommend referring you on to one of our physios to optimise your treatment.
